New sources: Pierre Cardin and Victoria's Secret products in Commbot

The more varied the products the engine can choose from, the more searches your store shows up in. On 24 September two new sources were added to Commbot: Pierre Cardin for clothing and shoes, and Victoria's Secret for lingerie. Commbot now regularly scans eight fashion brands: Bershka, Zara, Mango, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Oysho, Pierre Cardin and Victoria's Secret.

How it works

1. Scanned every day. Both catalogs are scanned end to end daily: price, sale price, colours, sizes and stock per size.
2. Open to the engine. The products go through the same checks as other brands: enough sizes in stock, complete photos and price, not already in your store.
3. Sizes follow the brand's own chart. Pierre Cardin's numeric menswear sizes (44–60) keep the same number in Russian sizing. Victoria's Secret bras are converted by band and cup (34DD → 75E, 32B → 70B). Sizes without an exact equivalent are not uploaded: Victoria's Secret letter sizes (S, M, L) and Pierre Cardin items sold by waist/length (such as jeans).
4. Richer cards. The model measurements Pierre Cardin provides (height, bust-waist-hips, size worn) are written to the card; for items made in Turkey, the country of manufacture is added too. Promotional frames that do not show the product are removed from Victoria's Secret galleries, and the brand's own colour names (e.g. marzipan, ganache) are mapped to Ozon's colour list.
5. Add by link too. Product links from both brands are recognised in Product Upload → Add a product manually. The moment you add a link, the product's current price, promotion and size stock are refreshed from the brand's site.

What it affects

• Automatic upload: products from both brands are among the engine's candidates. To keep a brand out, type its name in Never upload these; all of its products stay out.
• Product pool: each brand's products are listed on its own tab.
• Price and stock: price and stock of products on Ozon are refreshed regularly from the brand's site and passed on to Ozon; the price still never drops below your floor margin.
• Cosmetics: Victoria's Secret beauty products (fragrance, body care) are not uploaded.

Tips for better results

• At Victoria's Secret, favour bras and one-size items; letter-sized items are not uploaded for now.
• At Pierre Cardin, letter- or number-sized items (shirts, T-shirts, jackets, shoes) are uploaded; items sized by waist/length are not.
• To bring specific types from these brands forward, put the type in Upload these first (in Turkish, e.g. sutyen for bras).
