Zara products in automatic upload: with sizes, stock and clean titles

Zara's catalog is huge, but its category lists did not include stock per size. Opening a card without knowing which sizes are in stock leads to orders you cannot fulfil, and to cancellations. That is why the engine did not pick Zara products. Since 20 August, Zara products are tracked with size and stock data, and the engine picks them under the same rules as other brands.

How it works

1. Sizes and stock: the stock status of every size of a Zara product is tracked. Sizes in stock are converted to Ozon's Russian size chart (women's S → 42, M → 44; men's M → 48). A product whose sizes have no exact Russian equivalent is not picked: not listing it beats selling the wrong size.
2. Selection: Zara products enter the engine's daily selection through the same checks as other brands: enough sizes in stock, complete photos and price, and not already in your store.
3. Title: Zara writes product names in capital letters only. Ozon does not accept all-caps titles, and machine translation made mistakes on capitals (pattern and cut names came out wrong). Since 23 September the name is converted to normal case before translation, keeping collection codes such as ZW and TRF. The card title carries the brand, the product's Russian name, the Zara model code and the colour.
4. "Low stock" counts as in stock: Zara marks some sizes as "low stock". Since 15 October these sizes count as in stock: they stay open on Ozon and count in the engine's selection.
5. Bags: since 4 October, Zara bags sold in a single size instead of clothing sizes can be picked too. Dual size labels on menswear, such as "M (US M)", are also read correctly.

What it affects

• Automatic upload: Zara products appear in Upcoming products along with other brands. To keep them out, type Zara in the Never upload these box.
• Stock: on a Zara product already on Ozon, a sold-out size closes within 10 minutes and reopens when stock returns. If the product is confirmed gone from Zara's site, the card's stock is set to zero right away, so no order arrives that you cannot fulfil.
• Photos: outfit shots of other products in Zara's gallery do not end up on your card.
• Title and translation: the capital-letter fix applies to every newly uploaded Zara card.

Tips for better results

• When adding a Zara product by link, use the Turkish site (zara.com/tr/tr/…); prices on other country sites are not in Turkish lira.
• Prefer products with size depth at the source: a product with a single size left sells out fast and risks cancellation.
